Riot Halo show dominance in FPL Qualifiers

Thu 30th Mar 2017 - 5:15am General Gaming Esports LAN

The Halo team has proved once again that they're the team to beat in the Halo Female Pro League. They made their mark by taking out both Lady Outkastz and Hydra Gaming in a sweeping fashion to secure a spot in Halo's first season

The first matchup of the night was against Lady Outkastz which consists of SMELiSA, SpartanGirl1072, ZeldasLullaby and Rampkippz. The ladies showed no weakness an took game one 100-0 on Rig Strongholds. Game two, Regret Slayer closed out at an impressive 50-7. The first and final map was Coliseum CTF ending 3-0 in Riots favour, securing the win in the best of five series.

With one more match left to take 1st seed, Riot Halo needed to come out on top against their next opponent, Hydra Gaming. The Hydra roster is: Miss iSarah, Kittentopia, VirusoProphet and Mrs Kitty Ninja. The Riot girls showed no fear taking the first map on CTF Truth 3-0. They increased their lead further on Rig Slayer 50-21. Hydra fought to stay in the series, unfortunately it wasn't enough to take down Riot. With fantastic communication and team chemistry, Riot pulled through another 3-0 series win on final map, 100-35 on Plaza Strongholds.

The girls played fantastically throughout the qualifiers and we couldn't be happier with the team! We look forward to seeing them continue to perform in FPL Season 1. If you're not already following the team, what are you waiting for?
