Raspberry Pi Charity Stream

Tue 17th Oct 2017 - 11:47am General Gaming Esports LAN

We will be delivering a League of Legends charity stream on Saturday 21st October between 6pm – 10pm in aid of The Raspberry Pi Foundation. They are a UK-based charity that works to put the power of digital making into the hands of people all over the world, so they are capable of understanding and shaping our increasingly digital world, able to solve the problems that matter to them, and to help equip jobs in the future.

They are most well-known for providing low-cost, high-performance computers that people use to learn, solve problems and have fun. Take a look at their video to explain in further depth who they are and what they are about!

League of Legends recently announced that if you buy the Championship Ashe skin you can help raise money for selected charities. You can determine how much of the donations go to one of three charity’s by taking part in their community vote here

At Riot Gaming we want to help support the Raspberry Pi Foundation, as we are true believers in what they do and would love the opportunity to help however we can. Team members @m0rgz and @kimmieriot will be hosting a live-stream on Saturday 21st October playing League of Legends, particularly playing duo que bot lane with the Championship Ashe skin. Make sure you are following our twitch channel to be notified when we go live, and of course our twitter for further updates.

If you aren’t already following the Raspberry Pi Foundation, take a look at their Social Channels below, in addition to their website.
